A Quieter Immersion in Practice, Breath and Rest
Three full retreat days · four nights · private teaching, shaped around you
Enquire About This Private RetreatNot Every Retreat Needs to Excavate Something
Not every retreat needs to go looking for something difficult. Sometimes what is required is simpler and, in its own way, just as significant: time to practise properly, guidance that is actually about your body, and permission to rest.
This immersion is the quietest offering in our private retreat collection. There is no facilitated emotional programme at its centre. Instead there is practice — attentive, individual, unhurried — alongside breath, meditation, deep rest and good food.
It can be undertaken alone, or with a partner, family member or close friends as a private group of up to four.
A practice you can actually sustain is worth more than a practice that impressed you for a week.
Much of the value of private teaching is in what gets adjusted. Where a group class must generalise, three days of individual attention can address your particular body, history, limitations and available time.
The intention is that you leave with something workable — a practice that fits the life you are returning to.

Morning
Practice, Properly Attended To
Each morning begins with yoga and embodied practice, taught privately.
Because nobody else is in the room, the practice can go where it needs to. Alignment can be examined slowly. A movement can be repeated until it makes sense in your body rather than in theory. An old injury can be worked around rather than ignored.
Whether you have practised for fifteen years or never stepped onto a mat, the starting point is the body that arrives.
Depending upon you, the focus may include
- Foundational alignment and safe movement
- Breath and pranayama
- Meditation technique and posture
- Working with an injury or long-standing limitation
- Building a sustainable home practice
- Practice for stress, sleep or a busy mind
- Deepening an existing practice
- Understanding the philosophy behind the practice
- Rest, recovery and nervous system regulation

Midday
Breath, Meditation and Stillness
The middle of each day turns towards breath and meditation.
Most people who struggle with meditation have not failed at it — they have been given a technique that does not suit them, without anybody to ask. Private guidance allows the practice to be adjusted: posture, duration, object of attention, what to do when the mind will not settle.
Alongside this sits pranayama and simple breath work, taught carefully rather than intensively.

Afternoon
Deep Rest
Each afternoon includes Yoga Nidra and nervous system regulation.
For many people arriving tired, this becomes the most surprising part of the retreat. Rest of this quality is unfamiliar, and its effects accumulate over three days.
There is nothing to achieve here. You lie down and are guided.

Evening
Quiet Evenings
Every evening includes a curated restorative experience, followed by time that belongs entirely to you.
There is no evening programme to keep up with. Some guests choose an experience each night; others prefer stillness, reading and early sleep. Both are entirely appropriate.
This may include
- Sound Healing
- Reiki
- Therapeutic Massage
- Meditation
- Breathwork
- Fire Circle
- Other Samyama experiences

Final Evening
Water Ceremony
The immersion closes with a Water Ceremony — a simple, quiet marking of the practice you have established and what you intend to continue.
