Accommodation – Places to Rest and Reflect
Mindfulness Rooms & Simple Stays
For guests who wish to remain as close as possible to the practice, Samyama offers a small number of simple, ashram-style rooms within the meditation centre itself.
These spaces are intentionally uncluttered. A bed, a window, the sound of the surrounding gardens. Shared facilities are kept clean and quiet, and the entire environment is shaped to support stillness, silence and steady practice.
This way of staying is chosen for what it offers rather than what it removes. Minimal distraction, deep immersion, and the simplicity of waking and resting within the same space where the practices unfold.
Private Garden Cottages
Tucked into the gardens of the centre, the private cottages offer a quiet, comfortable space that is yours alone. They are well suited to solo guests, couples and longer stays where a little more privacy supports the depth of the practice.
Each cottage carries the same simplicity and care found throughout Samyama, with ensuite bathrooms, natural ventilation, and the soft presence of the surrounding greenery. The practice halls, eatery and shared spaces remain just a short walk away.
These rooms are a gentle middle ground. Private enough to fully rest, yet still closely woven into the daily rhythm of the centre.
The Samyama Villa
The villa is a spacious private home set within the wider grounds of the centre. Surrounded by gardens, with its own pool and quiet outdoor spaces, it offers a more secluded way of staying while remaining a short walk from the practice halls.
It is well suited to families, facilitators, small groups, longer stays, or guests who simply prefer a quieter and more private base from which to engage with the rhythm of Samyama.
Inside, two enclosed bedrooms sit alongside open mezzanine sleeping areas, generous living rooms and a full kitchen. The atmosphere is calm, uncluttered and held within the same care that shapes the rest of the centre.
Living at Samyama

Samyama sits within open rice fields on the quieter edge of Ubud. The atmosphere is deliberately peaceful. Mornings begin with the sound of birds and movement on the land. Days unfold around practice, rest and shared meals. Evenings settle into stillness early.
The centre is held as a sober environment. There is no alcohol on site, and the shared culture is one of respect, presence and care for what each person is moving through. Tea is offered throughout the day in the quieter common areas. Food at the eatery is fresh, considered, and made to support the body during practice.
Whichever way of staying you choose, you are stepping into the same wider rhythm. The gardens, the meditation halls, the eatery, the silence of the land and the presence of the people here all form part of what makes Samyama feel like Samyama.
