    Participant Agreement and Important Information

    About This Practice

    This is a three-hour personal development session exploring themes of addiction, compulsion, self-awareness, and shadow work through reflection, guided discussion, and experiential practices.

    The session is facilitated by an individual with lived experience of long-term recovery and personal development work.

    This practice is not a medical program, addiction treatment program, psychotherapy service, or rehabilitation program.

    The facilitator is not acting as a licensed medical professional, therapist, psychologist, or addiction counsellor.

    Participation does not constitute medical or psychological treatment and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition.

    If you are experiencing acute addiction crisis, withdrawal symptoms, or significant mental health difficulties, you should seek support from qualified healthcare professionals or appropriate treatment services.

    Suitability

    This session is intended for individuals who are stable, self-responsible, and able to participate in reflective group work.

    It is not suitable for individuals who are:

    • in active addiction or currently intoxicated
    • experiencing withdrawal symptoms
    • in acute emotional or psychological crisis
    • requiring clinical or therapeutic support

    Participants must attend sober and free from alcohol or non-prescribed drugs.

    Participation and Responsibility

    Participation is voluntary.

    Participants accept full responsibility for their own physical, emotional, and psychological wellbeing.

    The session may involve discussion of personal experiences and emotional themes.

    Facilitator Role

    The facilitator shares insights based on lived experience and personal development practices.

    This is not therapy, counselling, or medical advice.

    Agreement

    By applying, participants confirm that they understand the nature of the session, accept responsibility, consider themselves suitable, and agree to attend sober.
